OAEI prepares educators to lead change, and it also provides them with critical tools to communicate the need for change to their school and community. Learning Maps are visually rich tools developed to allow groups to organize and engage in important conversations around vital questions.

Bridging the Gap, also designed by Battelle, is intended to engage large groups of people in thoughtful dialogue triggered by a visual metaphor of the dramatic changes facing today’s schools.
Changing Views, Challenges for 21st Century Rural Schools ©
The Rural Learning Map has been developed by OAEI to capture the unique barriers faced by Ohio’s rural communities, as well as the strengths of a resilient, creative and independent regional culture.
